Pookie poo!

Had a full but good day today.

Woke up and thought I had overslept, but then realised that it was really an hour earlier, so I went back to bed and overslept for real.

Then I did my laundry, and went to volunteer for MassEquality for a few hours, calling people and asking them to let their representatives know they support gay marriage. I called 67 people- 3 said they'd call, three said no, and I left messages for the rest. phew.

Then I went and had a study group for Public Affairs (though I must say my study buddy was most unhelpful, and ended up just copying my notes)

Then mass @ the Paulist center. That place is so amazing... every time I set foot in there I feel like I'm at home and totally welcome. And the center is so focused on social justice for the poor. I cry a little every week I go there 'cause I'm just so amazed at the capacity for good in the world.

I'll leave you with a hymn we sang, one of my favorites.

Deep within,
I will plant my law.
Not on stone,
But in your heart.
Follow me,
I shall lead you home.
You shall be my own,
And I shall be your God.
